Dr Anders Mellbourn was Director of the Swedish Institute of International Affairs, UI, 1997-2004.
A political scientist by training, he is a former Editor-in-Chief of Dagens Nyheter, the leading morning daily in Sweden,
where in all he spent more than 20 years in a variety of positions. He was chairman of the STINT Foundation (The Swedish foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education),
2000-2005 and is a member of different bodies in the media and research communitites.
He is a regular commentator on public and international affairs in various Swedish media.
